Yellow is such a fun color for wedding… it brings a light cheerfulness that makes it hard not to have a fun time. For Erin and Ron’s shabby chic meets vintage wedding they opted to pair bright yellow with robin egg blue and white. Front Porch Farms served as a great natural setting for their big day, as the bride’s creative ideas led the way to their bird-themed Nashville wedding. Big thanks to The Collection for capturing these amazing shots… it is hard not to be bowled over by their talent when you see all the great pictures from this wedding. To see more and read about their sweet love story, check out the original post. Congrats to both Erin and Rob… It was such a pleasure to work with your both!
We really stepped outside our comfort zone a few weeks ago, creating a entirely new look for the Nashville Pink Bridal Show… one entirely devoid of color. The end result was an all white show-booth taking our urban chic concept and infusing it with tropical florals, greenery and a little bling. Our team really knocked this one out of the park (though I had total confidence that they would!), bringing to life an amazing display full of great wedding inspiration. Brides at the show loved the end result and we wanted to share the pictures we captured with you. While this uses tropical blooms (like orchids), many of the techniques can be used to style a similar look for your wedding using the colors, theme and wedding flowers of your choosing. Have other questions or feedback? We love comments… leave one by clicking the link at the top of the post
Also, mark your calendar for our next Nashville bridal show… the Perfect Wedding Guide Show at the Gaylord Opryland Resort on February 5th… we will have a whole new booth and lots of wedding inspiration. Stay tuned for our preview next week!
If haven’t already stumbled across Pinterest, this post is about to turn your wedding planning on its head. Acting as a virtual scrapbook, users are able to ‘pin’ favorite images to personal boards from personal collections or as they run across them on the web. For many of the brides we worked with, Pinterest is a great way to hone in on your design style and easily communicate your vision with your vendors. Careful though… this site can quickly turn into a time-suck as it is super easy to lose hours to surfing the the pins. But then again, there are worst things that you could be wasting time on.
Anyway, we would really love for all our you to connect with us on Pinterest. This is the best way to see some of our most recent work, easily categorized into various boards and color schemes. For those already a member of this fab site, the easiest and fastest way to connect is by clicking the social button in the column to the right of this post. If you have not already signed-up, you will need to request an invite. This can sometimes take a couple days and while you wait you can still browse all the great images but you need to have an account to create your own boards and follow the Enchanted Florist’s. Happy Pinning
There are a handful of Nashville weddings venues that we bring our beautiful flowers to nearly every weekend… Located south of Nashville near Leiper’s Fork and Franklin, Southall Eden is one of our favorites. This picturesque farm property and event venue offers couples lots of options when it comes to hosting a wedding. In addition, they offer full line of rental props, accents and decor items to be used on property or off. And don’t forget about their unique line of custom paperie… and we thought we were busy! Shannon and her team do an amazing job and are a dream to work with… over the fall we were lucky to work together on three truly gorgeous weddings!

Jon and Becky: Such a gorgeous dress (on a gorgeous bride!), we loved creating the soft romantic flowers to match! See the full post here. Photography by Adele Reding
Scott and Caroline: Scott and Caroline’s intimate wedding took place in Southall Eden’s signature barn. We loved working with their vibrant color palette of orange, red and yellow. See the full post here. Photography by Chris and Adrienne Scott.
Wow! Look what great news arrived in our inbox the other day from Wedding Wire…
We have been honored with this award the last 3 years and it really means so much to us. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the organization, the WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Award are awarded solely based on the reviews we have received from our newlyweds (64 Five-Star reviews and counting!!). As a result, we owe the amazing couples we worked with over the past year a big thank you! It was your glowing feedback that once again put us on the top of your list.
No time to slow down now
We are looking forward to continuing to create gorgeous flowers for all the couples we work with in 2012 and beyond!
