Today we are sharing the final installment of our recent Legacy Farms style shoot and we saved the best for last! Building on the rustic decor and amazing texture at Legacy Farms, today’s space is reminiscent of a wildflower wonderland. A rainbow of bright colors immediately draws you in but as you look closer the organic elements and natural texturea ties back to the venue itself. Suspending the delicate glass vases with ribbon adds a softness to the space and an element of playfulness. The simple and causal place setting lets the flowers be the focal point while still adding interesting details and whimsy. For the bride looking to bring the outdoors in this unique reception spaceis a show stopper, indeed! And it works with many budgets as well… couples could choose to highlight their bridal party tables or a sweetheart table with more intricate decor and then opt for my classic table centerpieces for the guests’ tables as a less costly alternative.
Once again Joe Hendricks served as the talented photographer for the images below. You can see all of his images from our big day of wedding styling on his website, here. Biggest thanks to everyone involved… as always it was great fun and we can’t wait to do it again!
After debuting our style shoot on Monday with a sweet country wedding ceremony, we are back at it with another look. This takes the Tennessee country setting of Legacy Farms and adds a dose glitz and glam! Combining the dramatic draping and lighting with vintage details and rustic accents, balances the contrasting textures perfectly. We used simple white flowers in silver mercury glass and pillar candles for the table centerpieces. Keeping your tables neutral and simplistic helps not to overwhelm the surrounding wood grains and texture. It is always important to keep this in mind when looking at venues… it is more cost-effective to accent the color scheme and style already in place at a wedding venue versus work to cover it up. Sometimes your theme will determine the venue that works best; other times your venue serves as inspiration for your wedding day theme!
Once again, we need to give credit to all the awesome Nashville wedding vendors that help pull this stunning look together. Stay tuned for the final show stopper of our style shoot on Friday!
Happy Monday! We have a big week of blogs ahead as we are sharing the final images from a fun style shoot we worked on a few weeks back with a handful of awesome wedding vendors from the Nashville area. Taking place at the picturesque Legacy Farms, Joe Hendricks was our talented photographer for the day and capture the gorgeous pictures below. Our first look features a sweet country wedding ceremony on the grounds of Legacy Farms. Simple, versatile and timeless, we are a big fans of this outdoor space set with bright flowers against the wooden church pews. All the focus remains on the couple with a few embellishments to remind everyone it’s a special day 🙂
Be sure to check back later this week to see the other amazing images from our shoot. Or better yet, subscribe to our blog in the right column and they will be delivered straight to your inbox. Also, take a moment to check out the vendors (listed below) that were a part of this style shoot – could not have done it without them!
Recently, we had the privilege to spend a day doing what we love most – a wedding style shoot! Style shoots are becoming more and more common with Nashville’s creative wedding minds as an outlet for all our ideas and possible trends we are swooning over. You would think after a busy weekend of weddings and flowers our team would want a break… in reality, they would much rather spend they day with some awesome wedding vendors, tinkering about to create gorgeous tablescapes, floral arrangements and wedding inspiration for brides to gush over. And when that happens… well, the result is usually pretty awesome 🙂
This style shoot took place at one of our favorite wedding venues, Legacy Farms with Nashville photographer, Kevin Wimpy capturing all the amazing pictures. Deep purples and blues blooms mixed with succulents are accented with pink, yellow and green look elegant and timeless against the cobalt linens… all while still adding fun pops of color to keep things from being too formal. You can also see where we toned done the table setting for a more casual look with contrasting mint green napkins. We ended up creating three very different looks, all of which will be posted to the blog in the upcoming weeks.
Hope you love the pictures as much as we loved creating the styled wedding set-ups. We can’t wait to create this for a soon-be-bride 🙂
