As we gear up for another exciting bridal show in Nashville this weekend (Perfect Wedding Guide Bridal Show on Sunday!), we have yet to come down from the cloud nine we were on after the Pink Bridal Show, Aug 26th at the Nashville Convention Center. We went in a new direction for our booth at the show, creating a rustic winter wonderland inspired wedding space. Assuming many of you were in attendance on Sunday, these pictures are likely familiar to you but we thought we might relive it for just one more day. Mixing cut wood, evergreen bows, birch limbs, pine cones, and hay bales, the white and red flowers show as an accent in this wintry look. Something to keep in mind – flowers wilt but many organic elements like those used below don’t, allowing them to be reused for multiple events at a lower cost.
Thankfully, the team from Ace Photography graciously snapped a handful of awesome pictures of our booth from the show. Being that the set-up is so quick to go up and come down, it is easy to forget the many details that had to come together for this look. And of course that’s in part to the stellar ladies that make up Team Enchanted. If there is anyone that makes this company what it is today, it is the awesome team of super hard-working florists and designers behind every centerpiece, bridal bouquet and event we do. So, so blessed, it is hard to keep track at this point.
As we kick off another busy fall season, here’s to a happy future full of flowers 🙂
With Spring in full bloom, many of us are happily putting Old Man Winter’s dark and cold days behind us. That is until you see these stunning wedding pictures from Stephanie and Josh’s white winter Nashville wedding at the Loveless Barn. Maybe it’s the photographer, maybe it’s the happy couple, maybe it’s the gorgeous all white bridal bouquet… sometimes we even surprise ourselves. We hate to boost, but the images captured by the very talented Angela Disrud are simply breathtaking.
Stephanie’s bouquet is a mix of white hydrangea, gardenias, and stephanotis, accented by silver brunia. Together the blooms create the perfect winter wedding look, which we carried to in part to the bridemaids’ bouquets and Josh’s boutonniere. We love white for all seasons and can easily swap elements of this look to fit other seasons. If you are a fan of white wedding flowers you’re not alone as this is proving to be a hot trend for 2012 and we look forward to creating amazing looks like this one for our brides and grooms to come! Best wishes to both Stephanie and Josh… great to work with you both 🙂
Kate’s royal wedding last spring was guaranteed to set future wedding trends. One of our favs for 2012 is all-white weddings… such a glamorous, elegant and timeless look. This trend started to take hold in immediate following the British nupitials as many of our brides opted for gorgeous all-white bridal bouquets of peonies, orchids or roses and 2012 promises many more white weddings. Keep your venue and style of wedding in mind when putting together your all-white color palette… with so many shades of white and great matching neutrals (like silver or beige) to tie everything together the options are endless and can have very different results.
Brides on a budget will want to think in season when choosing flowers (tulips in the spring) but more popular flowers like roses and even carnations are available year round but if you are looking for wow-factor, white full peonies are the way to go. Consider adding ostrich feathers, your mother’s favorite brooch or other non-organic pieces for texture (and a personal touch). Even the slightest pop of color can work to enhance the all white feel (take the yellow or added greenery above, for example). Can’t wait to share many of the white weddings we have in the works for this year… Until then we would love to talk with about your ideas for an all white wedding. Big thanks as always to all the great photographers that send me these pictures… including The Collection, Adele Reding, Phindy Studios, ImageTrick, Divine Images, and lots more! If I missed you, please leave a comment and I will be sure to add your credit 🙂
