Yeah! Summer is officially here (well, it’s not techinically June 21 but close enough for us!). This time of year, Team Enchanted is busy, busy, busy creating wedding flowers for our beautiful brides. Many embrace a long standing trend in summer weddings – a bright and colorful bridal bouquet. Today we are sharing some favorite inspiration from past weddings 🙂
As a summer bride you’ll be looking for bright and colorful blooms to create a fun, youthful, and exciting wedding. Keep in mind that just because you’re using bright colors doesn’t mean you can’t mix and match. If you’re not too keen on all that color you can mix in a more muted palette and keep a single bold color, like a bright pink or dark purple. Mixing different colors will get totally different and awesome results. Use cool colors (like blues) for a softer romantic tone, or warm true colors (full reds or yellows) for a lively and electric feel. One of the best parts of using bright colors is that they go with almost any venue or style that you dream of having. We’d love to talk to you more about making your dreams come true, and we can’t wait to bring your bright, bold look to life.

There are just some wedding vendors in Nashville that are just so ridiculously talented that feel simply lucky to work with them. With her uncanny ability to tell a subtle story through her work, Nashville wedding photographer, Kristyn Hogan is another vendor that we love! Love to work with, love to see the photos she takes of our weddings, and love to call a sweet friend! Professional, incredibly gifted and passionate, her images are always timeless, artful and stunning.
Kristyn has been the shooter behind so many of our favorite weddings, she’s practically an honorary member of Team Enchanted. Below are some pictures from past weddings we have team on at CJ’s Off the Square, Legacy Farms, and Union Station. We implore you to visit her website and blog to see more of her work – you owe it too yourself to consider her as your wedding photographer. It’s impossible not to love her as much as we do! 🙂

Cake anyone? Today’s post not only tempts your taste buds but offers food for thought when it comes to decorating your wedding cake. Serving cake is considered a symbolic tradition, generally thought to bring luck to the couple and all the guests who enjoy it on wedding day. While many cultural superstitions surround the wedding cake, we are noticing a trend that is of particular interest – fresh flowers! With the popularity of vintage or natural inspired weddings among Tennessee brides, we are seeing more and more of our couples opt for a cake that incorporates flowers or other organic elements into the decorations (like succulents on the cake below – so unique!). Flowers are often a less expensive option to the tedious applications offered by your cake decorator and can accent your cake in a variety of ways, shown below.
As a focal point, your wedding cake will showcase your theme, decor and personality – we hope this offers you some inspiration for your own wedding. As always, we are here to help you determine what will work best for you (even if it’s a cake sans flowers)… just send a message to email@example.com to set up your wedding consultation. We can’t wait to bring your vision to life!

We don’t know many people that don’t love a classic Southern wedding. Top it off with a groom in a military dress, oodles of pink flowers and you have a dreamy wedding for sure! Christina and Andy were married over the Memorial Day weekend last spring at the West End Methodist Church. Later they would celebrate with a reception at the Hermitage Hotel. Both locations offered a dramatic and timeless flair, perfect for our Southern bride. Wearing her mother’s veil and carrying gorgeous bouquet of pink peonies, lilies and white hydrangeas, Christina was picture perfect on wedding day. In addition, we capped church pews with a similar mix of flowers and created tall urns of flowers for the altar. The same tall arrangements inspired the reception centerpieces, set atop gold pedestals. And as you can see from the pictures below, the completed space was stunning. The Bake Shoppe was behind the simple, white 5-tier cake, dress in flowers in all shades of pink. What can we say… we love, love, love a Southern wedding!
Big thanks to Kristyn Hogan Photography for the amazing pictures – your talent amazes us again and again. Also, wedding planner extraordinaire, CJ Dickson of Williamson County Events made for a flawless day for all involved! Love working with you!
You can see more gorgeous pictures from Christina and Andy’s spring wedding on Kristyn Hogan’s blog. Congratulations to the happy couple… we wish you many dreamy years together!
