Another gorgeous wedding to share from one of our favorite photographers and Nashville wedding venues! Shannon and Blaine were married at Legacy Farms and all the beautiful pictures below are courtesy of Erin Lee from The Collection. The couple envisioned a colorful wedding of jewel tone flowers in shades of pink and purple. Mixing Gerber daisies, orchids, dahlias, and hydrangeas among others, the flowers added a punch of color and energy against the natural backdrop of Legacy Farms. One of our favorite details of their day was the wedding cake. The Bake Shoppe of Main Event Productions created the stunning confection – so gorgeous!
We loved being a part of such a happy day! Congrats to you both and here’s to many years of married bliss!

Margaret and Brandon’s sweet wedding (with so many shades of pink) is brought to us today from Mandy Whitley Weddings and it’s a stunner! Married at Cellar One in Downtown Nashville, this urban event space is tucked away on 2nd Ave and includes a charming courtyard that opens to the river where the Margaret and Brandon shared heartfelt vows amidst family and friends. Opting to keep the ceremony flowers classic, the couple choose shades of pink roses along the aisle and for the bouquets and boutonnieres. For the reception, we created a few key arrangements to highlight the buffet tables, again using pink as the color of choice, this time with hydrangeas in tall silver vases.
With everything in place, it was time to get married and celebrate! And they did just that… you can see Margaret and Brandon’s big day (and all the fun they had) on Mandy’s blog, here. Always the pro, we love when Mandy shoots our weddings and for such a sweet couple we could not be happier with how everything turned out. Congratulations to you both… it was an honor to share in such a special occasion. Best of luck! 🙂
That’s all we could say after looking at the gorgeous pictures from Paul Rowland Photography of Amanda and Jimmy’s recent wedding at Front Porch Farms. Below we are happy to share a bevy of blooming goodness from their gorgeous wedding flowers. Opting for an eclectic mix of country wildflowers in mason jars, all in sweet shades of pink and accented by hints of yellow craspedia and yarrow, the final look is gorgeously simple and romantic. We even found a few spots for a succulent or two among the wispy greenery making this is one of our favorites of the past spring. Set to the backdrop of the picturesque countryside, rolling hills, and breathtaking views of Front Porch Farms… all we can do is smile.
For insanely awesome picture from Paul, be sure to visit his website. To Amanda and Jimmy – we LOVED be a part of your wedding day and wish you much happiness for years to come! Congrats! 🙂
Continuing from our recent blog post Legacy Farm’s Style Shoot: Moody Blues, today we’re featuring more wedding inspiration for our day at Legacy Farms. Located in Lebanon, 30 minutes from Nashville, Legacy Farms is definitely one of our favorite wedding venues. We love being asked out to this beautiful property with the rustic mix of buildings, nearby pastures, ponds and wide open spaces… perfect for a wedding or special event. Again, Kevin Wimpy Photography was the shooter behind this style shoot.
For this look we mixed a soft, romantic color palette of pinks with accents of gold and vintage textures. Set within a rustic structure on the property, the finished images create a dreamy feel that would be perfect for an anniversary dinner, bridal shower luncheon or high tea. Love the textured table runner… this is a lower cost way to dress up a simple table-cloth, rather than a full textured cloth and creates a dramatic point of interest. If runners aren’t your thing, this can also be accomplished with napkins or creative chargers. It is sort of like buying fancy accent pillows for your standard couch, all while allowing total customization of the overall look.
One more look to go from our Legacy Farms Style Shoot! Stay tuned for autumn wedding inspiration, coming soon 🙂
It was a happy day in the office when the mother of the bride shared a couple of the wedding pictures from Jordan’s and Drew’s special day. We immediately reached out the photographer, Ariel Renae because we had to share these gorgeous shots with you. The soft pink peonies and bright fuchsia bridesmaids’ bouquets against the gray suits of groom and his men… How can you not be simply stunned? Really, these pictures are AMAZING!
Thought we kept the types of blooms fairly simple (peonies in the bride’s bouquet and carnations for the bridesmaids), the color makes for a dramatic effect. Using carnations helps offset the cost of the more expensive peonies, while the branch details tie back into the vintage elements of their reception and cake table. That is one of the amazing things about working with flowers… with so many options, colors and accents available, your unique vision can come to life not matter the budget.
Congrats to Jordan and Drew… So glad we shared in this very special day!
Peonies had us at hello… no questions asked. And for many of your brides, the love affair for this delicate and wonderfully fragrant bloom is shared. So today we choose to spend a few moments swooning over some pretty peony wedding inspiration 🙂
For those of you that dream of a wedding filled with peonies, here are a couple things to remember. First, peonies are not cheap. The good news? They blend easily with other less-expensive flowers, helping to maximize your budget. Some of our past brides had us create a bridal bouquet full of peonies while the bridesmaids’ bouquets featured a single bloom mixed with other flowers. Second, peonies have a relatively short season. While roses are in season year round, peonies are most available in the spring into early summer. While we are sometimes able to get them out of season, cost reflects the limited supply.
Long short short… where there’s a will, there is a way. And we are hear to help. We would love to set up an appointment to discuss any questions you have and figure what will work best to bring your vision to life within your budget. Also, feel free to post any comments or questions on this blog 🙂
Big thanks as always to all the great photographers that send me these pictures… you always make our work look so amazing! Shout out to The Collection, Divine Images, ImageTrick, and Kristyn Hogan Photography!
